What is galaxy?

 •Galaxy:-                 

 

    A galaxy is a group of many stars, with gas, dust, and dark matter. The Name 'Galaxy' is Taken from the Greek Word (Galaxia) Meaning Milky,  Reference to Our Own Galaxy (The Milky Way) which appear in the sky at night. 

    Now talk about its Hindi meaning. Galaxy (Galaxy) is called ' (आकाशगंगा )' in Hindi.      

  •Types of Galaxy:-

      The centre of most galaxy is spherical most of the part full of stars, called the 'nucleus', and this nucleus is surrounded by a planar circular disc around itself.        

    Astronomers divide galaxies into three main categories on the basis of their shape – 

1-Spiral galaxy,              

2-Eliptical galaxy and     

3-Irregular galaxy.  

       The 'spiral galaxy' is disc-shaped, with a protruding center. Bright spirals emerge from this central bulge. The stars in this galaxy are relatively young. Our galaxy "Milky Way" comes under this. 

       The 'elliptical galaxies' are circular or globular. The center of these galaxies is brightest and the brightness decreases towards the periphery. The stars in this galaxy are relatively old. 

        An 'irregular galaxy' does not have a definite shape. Their size keeps changing. This happens in them because of the low gravitational force. No one knows why galaxies assume a certain form. Perhaps it depends on the speed of rotation of the galaxies, the force of gravity and the speed of formation of the stars in it.

•Galaxy's environment:-

       Our galaxy is like a swollen circular

porridge in the middle. In this there are all those stars within a circle which we see separately in the sky. Stars and star clusters are sparsely distributed around our Galaxy.

        The stars are more dense in number near the center of our Galaxy and are relatively scattered towards the edge. All the stars are revolving around the center, the     stars closer to the center move faster and the farther ones at less speed. Our Sun is about 30-35 thousand light-years away from the center and is in the middle plane of the Galaxy. 

    Our Galaxy (Milky Way) 

The width and brightness of our Galaxy (which contains our Earth) are not the same. It is the widest and brightest in the constellation of Sagittarius (Sagittarius). There are countless stars in the Galaxy when viewed from a distance. By counting the number of stars of different brightness,  calculating their distance and measuring their speed, astrologers make a very good estimate of the true form of the Galaxy. If instead of the form seen in the sky, the form of the Galaxy is considered in the three-dimensional space, then it is found that the Galaxy is almost like a flat circular wheel whose part near the axis is slightly bloated.      

Our Earth and Sun are located in the Galaxy, in the night we can see the same Galaxy's stars from the naked eye. So far the part of the universe has been detected, there is an estimate of almost 1 9 billion Galaxy. According to the explosion theory of the universe (Big Bang Theory of Universe) All the Galaxyments are moving away from each other. The universe is in hundred billion Galaxy existence. Which boasts the stars, gas and astronomical dust in large quantities. Gallaxies started their lives millions of years ago and gradually achieved their present form. Each Galaxies boasts billions of stars. Keeps gravitational wires together and similarly many Galaxy together live in Tara cluster.
